I'm going to try to start updating our blog again. I'll start by posting some updated pictures of our little darling. I am also going to go back and fill in the blanks from our trip to China and what has happened since. Posting the China trip stuff is more for me to have it down in detail somewhere but anyone interested is more than welcome to read it.
On to the important stuff! Here are some pictures! Lila is really a sweet, smart baby and just a true joy to us. Her information from China was definitely right about her being outgoing. She is very social and loves to be around other people, especially children. She has been walking since just before her first birthday and over the last month or so has really started to pick up some words. She probably has at least 25 words now (not including her baby sign language words). Her favorite is "cracker!" She loves Goldfish Crackers and they have been the source of a couple of break throughs for her now. The first was when she learned how to say "more" in sign language to get more Goldfish (shortly after we got home with her). The second came when we were in the grocery store about 2 weeks ago and I picked up a box of Goldfish. She looked at me and made the sign for cracker and said "craka" at the same time. She had never made the sign or said the word before that! Maybe she does pay some attention to Mommy!
